Event rules

General terms and conditions

By participating in the event, you agree to the terms and conditions below.

  1. Your wristband must be worn at all times and should not be removed during the event.
  2. Respect the decisions of teachers and organizers, especially during auditions.
  3. We are not responsible for your valuables, belongings, or any injuries you might incur during the event. Please take care of your things and yourself.
  4. Dance activities carry a risk of physical injuries. Participate at your own discretion and be considerate of others’ safety.
  5. Understand that your image and voice may appear in event-related media (photos, videos). These may be used by the organizer for the event or artistic purposes. The rights to these media belong to the organizer.
  6. Payment should be completed within 14 days of registration confirmation. Unpaid registrations may be cancelled by organizers after two weeks.
  7. In case any part of the program is altered (e.g., due to teacher illness or travel issues), refunds will not be provided.
  8. Withdrawal from competitions is possible however no refunds will be issued.
  9. All participants must comply with the Code of Conduct, both on and off the dance floor.
  10. The event organizers reserve the right to remove or disqualify any individual(s) from the event or competitions if they pose a potential threat, danger, or disruption to themselves or others. Failure to adhere to these event rules might result in the withdrawal of your event pass without refund.
  11. All participants must comply with the Privacy Policy.
  12. All competitors must comply with the Competition Rules.

Video policy

  • Do not record or photograph individuals without their consent. If you capture spontaneous videos or photos of a specific dance/person, please ask for permission afterward and respect the decision of those involved, especially if you plan to post them online.
  • Photos and videos of the whole dance floor, without focusing on specific individuals or couples, are allowed without consent.
  • Taking videos of classes is not allowed, unless approved by the teacher. Recording class summaries is permitted.

Transfer Rules

Registrations are immediately binding and non-refundable. If you have purchased a ticket but cannot attend the event, you can transfer your ticket to someone else. Read about the process below.

  • Leaders can only transfer their registration to another leader as a substitute.
  • Followers can transfer their registration to either a follower or a leader as a substitute.
  • Finding a substitute should be done in an acceptable manner, without any abuse or misuse. We reserve the right to decline any registration transfer request that does not comply with these guidelines.
  • The new participant needs to make a new registration and indicate in the comment field in the registration form that this is a transfer and from whom the pass is being transferred.
  • The new participant then needs to pay to the organizer based on the received confirmation email (the price will be the same as of the former participant). After receiving the payment the organizer will refund the payment to the former participant and cancel his/her registration. Please note that we will charge a processing fee of 10 € on the refunded amount.
  • Payment for pass transfer needs to go through the organizer.
  • Transfer request needs to be done at least 3 days before the event starts. No transfers are possible after that date. Exceptions can be made due to vital unforeseen reasons (injuries, etc.).
  • Freepasses are not transferable.
